In an effort to reduce suicide by gunshot wound, the Northeast Suicide Prevention Initiative partnered with the Rocky Mountain MIRECC for Veteran Suicide Prevention to provide gun locks to participating licensed gun shop owners, local police chiefs, and the Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office. They Taylor Police Department has also donated gun locks to this initiative.
